Who we are:

The Sarasota County Rowing Club (SCRC) promotes the sport of rowing for adults, men and women. SCRC has 100 members which range in ages from 23 to 82 and participate in both sculling and sweep rowing, competitively and recreationally.

We row most every day, mostly in the mornings as early as 6:45 a.m.

We launch off of the Historic Blackburn Point, on the Intercoastal Waterway on Blackburn Point Road in Osprey, Florida map

Masters Learn to Row Class

Interested in learning to row? Contact:

Minimum Physical Requirements:

Touch your ankles without bending your knees;
Sustain aerobic activity for at least 15 minutes;
Lift 35 lbs. over your head;
Fit into narrow boat (not more than 20");
Swim (tread water a minimum of 10 minutes);
Bend your knees to the squat position.

Download, print and sign the U.S. Rowing Waiver.
